PURPOSE: To enter into a lease on property across from the Arlington Operations Center for construction staging and material storage supporting the renovation project of the operations center

 

BACKGROUND: Snohomish County, through their Public Works Department, is doing a major renovation and build-out project of their current operations center located at 19700 67th Avenue NE, Arlington, WA. To facilitate the renovation project Snohomish County needs additional land to store construction materials and equipment during the life of the project. A vacant lot across the street and directly north of the operations center would be ideal for the purposes previously mentioned. The owner of the vacant lot is willing to lease the County the east 1.7 acres of the vacant lot for $2,035.00 per month.
