PURPOSE: The purpose of this ECAF is to approve and execute Amendment 1 to the interlocal agreement (ILA) between Snohomish County and the City of Stanwood to allow the County IT Department to provide support to Stanwood’s sescurity cameras.
BACKGROUND: In 2018, the City of Stanwood (Stanwood) began receiving information technology services from the County under an Interlocal Agreement (ILA). Snohomish County Information Technology department leverages the County’s existing technology infrastructure and expertise to support Stanwood. IT configures hardware and software on behalf of Stanwood, and maintains and supports Stanwood’s dedicated equipment, PC software and hardware. The ILA was renewed in 2023 for an additional five years through December 23, 2028. Stanwood has requested that the County’s IT Department begin providing support for Stanwood’s security cameras beginning July 1, 2024. The additional revenue for the new services is expected to be $19,600 through the remainder of the 5-year term. This additional amount does not exceed the $883,718 maximum agreed to in the master ILA.
