PURPOSE: Approval of Amendment No. 1 to Agreement CC04-21 will allow Public Works to continue to utilize Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC for Real Estate Brokerage and Marketing Services at the Snohomish Shops property.

 

BACKGROUND: In September 2021 the County entered into a Professional Services agreement with Lee and Associates for Real Estate Brokerage and Marketing Services related to the Snohomish Shops property.   Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC was one of three firms responding to RFP008-21SB and was selected through established Federal, State and County policies and procedures. A PSA has been executed for the property however there is a possibility the closing may be extended past the end of the year.  The County wishes to retain the services of the broker through the remainder of the sale or to assist with marketing and selling the property to another buyer in the unlikely event that the current sale does not go through. An Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement between Snohomish County and Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC was negotiated which would extend the contract completion date through June 30, 2024.
