PURPOSE: Approval of Amendment No. 3 to the Software License and Services Agreement between Snohomish County and Cartegraph, Inc.
BACKGROUND: On September 25, 2015 Snohomish County executed a Software License and Services Agreement between Snohomish County and Cartegraph, Inc. for an automated asset maintenance management system which was initially released to the Road Maintenance and Solid Waste divisions of Public Works but has now been implemented department wide. Since that time the agreement has been amended twice. The first amendment extended the initial term by six months through August 31, 2021. The second amendment added additional but related scope and budget. The original agreement allows for five (5) additional one-year extensions. The County and Cartegraph wish to renew for all five (5) one-year extensions. The County and Cartegraph have negotiated an amendment combining all five one-year extensions. The total amount payable under this agreement will not exceed $2,314,396.60 which includes $966,458.00 for five years of annual subscription costs and an estimated $96,645.80 in tax for the proposed Amendment No. 3. The new contract completion date will be August 31, 2026.
