PURPOSE: To hire David Evans and Associates, Inc. for on-call surveying services at Snohomish County Airport.
BACKGROUND:
• Snohomish County Airport (Paine Field) staff requires assistance with survey and mapping on-call services for leasing, licenses, land development, engineering and construction surveying.
• David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA) has been selected on the basis of their qualifications to do the on-call survey work identified in Schedule H of RFQ 24-011BC.
• DEA has over forty years of experience successfully providing land surveying to clients throughout the Puget Sound region, including Paine Field.
• This contract will be administered over four years, with the ability to extend for additional time at the option of the County.
• The required funds will be provided from the Airport fund and supplemented with grant funding when available. The total expenditure shall not exceed $300,000.
• The Airport seeks authorization for the Executive to execute this professional services contract with DEA.

The airport shall only use this contract when funds are available and approved in the budget. In addition, the airport shall use FAA Grants or Passenger Facility Charges (PFC) whenever feasible.
