PURPOSE: To obtain the Executive’s signature on a grant contract application for amendment (A) with the Washington State Department of Commerce for the SFY 2027 Victim Witness DV Specific Grant. (Amended to add $50,661 in funding)
BACKGROUND: The Office of Crime Victims Advocacy (OCVA) in the Washington State Department of Commerce (DOC) has awarded the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office (PAO) a $50,000.00 grant (#S27-31115-022) for advocacy services provided on behalf of DV clients to be used from 07/01/2026-06/30/2027. OCVA is offering the PAO an additional $50,661.00 in the form of an amendment with the same term of 06/30/2026-06/30/2027. The amended award amount will stand at $100,661.00.
