PURPOSE: To execute Amendment No. 1 to RFQ 23-006BC with Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. for on-call environmental services at Snohomish County Airport.
BACKGROUND:
• Snohomish County Airport (the Airport) and Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (Jacobs) entered into an on-call contract for Environmental Services in June of 2024.
• Jacobs was selected on the basis of their qualifications to do the work as identified in RFQ 23-006BC.
• The work to be performed under this RFQ was based on a scope of services to provide on-call Environmental analysis in support of the Airport’s Runway 16R-34L Rehabilitation project.
• As of April, 2025, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as part of the Runway 16R-34L project has required the Airport to analyze additional environmental impacts to the west side of the airfield not originally budgeted in the on-call contract.
• The proposed Amendment No. 1 extends the duration of the contract to December 31, 2028, as well as increases the budget of the contract to $1,500,000 in support of these additional on-call tasks.
