PURPOSE: The purpose of this agreement with Landau Associates, Inc. is to assist on the Former Tect Site - Remedial Investigation Planning & Implementation.

 

BACKGROUND: .

Ø                     The Airport requests authority to utilize the Snohomish County Public Works On-Call Contract for environmental consulting services.

Ø                     Landau Associates, Inc. (Landau Associates) was selected to provide environmental consulting services pursuant to the Snohomish County Public Works On-Call Contract Agreement No. OCC19/1-7.8(AP). 

Ø                     Landau Associates previously provided environmental consulting services on the former Tect lease area.

Ø                     This site has significant solvent and hydrocarbon contamination from past tenants.

Ø                     Landau Associates will assist the Airport on the remedial investigation planning and implementation.

Ø                     The value of the contract is NTE $195,000.00 and is funded by an Ecology Integrated Planning Grant.

Ø                     Public Works has reviewed the contract and has stated that it is contract compliant.
