ITEM TITLE:

Title

Motion 23-311, authorize the County Executive to execute Amendment 6 to The Human Resources Recruitment and Selection Agreement

body

DEPARTMENT:  Information Technology

ORIGINATOR:  Dee White

EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION:  Ken Klein 7/20/23

PURPOSE: The approval of the attached Amendment 6 will allow the Human Resources (HR) department to acquire the Learn Bulk SCORM Integration from NeoGov beginning September 28, 2023.

BACKGROUND: In 2011 Snohomish County entered into an Agreement with Governmentjobs.com dba NeoGov for an online automated recruitment and selection system for new employees as part of implementation of recommendations made during a 2007 performance audit of the Snohomish County hiring process.  The Agreement was amended in 2014 to expand recruitment functionality, in 2020 and 2021 to add functionality and extend pricing, and 2022 to co-term all the modules.  The current Learn module does not provide course file integration, which requires HR staff to perform this work manually, and in some instances prevents any course updates from being made.  NeoGov offers a Bulk SCORM integration tool which will automate the process and allow for updates. The Bulk SCORM tool adds $11,550 to the NeoGov contract for the initial deployment and three years of annual subscriptions at fixed rates from 9/28/23 through 9/27/2026.    Approval of this Amendment 6 will allow the Human Resources department to begin using the SCORM tool on September 28, 2023.
