PURPOSE: To accept FAA’s Airport Coronavirus Response Grant Program (ACRGP) Grant Offer, Grant No. 3-53-0028-062-2021 for Snohomish County Airport to receive economic relief related to COVID-19.
BACKGROUND: .
Q This FAA ACRGP Grant is being provided in accordance with the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRSSA) to provide Snohomish County Airport with funding to help airport operations and activities as a result of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency.
Q Snohomish County Airport would like to accept the FAA ACRGP Grant Offer, Grant No. 3-53-0028-062-2021 for $3,034,662 which may be used for any lawful purpose permitted under the ACRGP.
Q This is one of two FAA grant offers Paine Field shall receive from the ACRGP. The second FAA grant offer for concession relief has not been received yet and is estimated at $83,480. The second concessions relief grant may be used to provide relief from rent and minimum annual guarantees (MAG) to on-airport car rental, on-airport parking, and in-terminal airport concessions. Paine Field will be using the funds for in-terminal airport concessions relief.
Q Please note the Airport must execute the grant, followed by the attorney’s certification, no later than May 31, 2021 in order for the grant to be valid.
