PURPOSE: Approval of Supplement No. 2 to Agreement CCF04-23 will allow Snohomish County Public works to continue to utilize PH Consulting, LLC to provide Design Services necessary to complete the 84th Street NE Corridor Spot Improvement project.
BACKGROUND: The Department of Public Works (PW) has received federal funding to complete spot safety improvements on the 84th Street NE Corridor from SR 9 to SR 92. 84th Street NE Corridor caries a high volume of traffic at high speeds which results in a high crash rate. This project will design and implement the recommended near-term improvements as outlined in the 84th Street NE Corridor Implementation Action plan. PH Consulting, LLC responded to RFQ-23-002SB and was selected through established Federal, State and County policies and practices. A Professional Services Agreement between Snohomish County and PH Consulting, LLC was executed in July 2023. Since that time one (1) supplement has been executed to extend the completion date. Supplement No. 2 adds additional but related services including Traffic signal/ITS design, channelization plan, alternate design alternatives for Advance Warning Devices, and environmental support. Total payments for services under this supplement will not exceed $24,876.17, for an amended total amount not to exceed $120,187.57.
