PURPOSE: To hire Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. for engineering services during construction at Snohomish County Airport on the RW 16R-34L North Rehabilitation project.
BACKGROUND:
Q Snohomish County Airport requires Airfield Engineering Consulting Services in order to accomplish the rehabilitation of the northern 3,500’ of the airport’s Runway 16R-34L.
Q Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (Jacobs) was selected on the basis of their qualifications to do the work as identified in RFQ 24-003BC.
Q The work performed under this RFQ included a first contract in 2024 (Part A) consisting of preliminary design services and a second Part B contract in 2025 for final design and bidding services. This final Part C contract is for construction engineering services.
Q The Airport seeks authorization for the Executive to execute the Part C professional services contract with Jacobs, for construction engineering services.
Q The contract is NTE $1,668,663 and terminates December 31, 2028 with the option of the County to supplement for additional time if needed.
