PURPOSE: Executive Approval of Grant Award For 2025 HIDTA Funding
BACKGROUND: *Since 1998, the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) through Northwest High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area has awarded funding without matching requirements to Snohomish County in conjunction with the Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force. *The 2025 full HIDTA grant award for HID1925G0556-00 is $177,080.00. *This grant award reimburses the Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force Detectives overtime, for time spent in drug enforcement activites. Additional it supports required travel/training for the Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force Detectives, ER&R fuel, facility utilities cost and other miscellaneous expenses. *There is no match required for this grant award. *Currently the Sheriff is requesting Executive approval of the 2025 HIDTA grant award HID1925G0556-00 in the amount of $177,080.00.
