PURPOSE: To obtain Executive approval of Change Order 02 to Marpac Construction.
BACKGROUND: The County and Marpac Construction entered into an agreement on December 18th, 2024, for the construction phase of the New Start Center of Everett. The remodel contract was bid prior to the moisture remediation being completed in order to meet federal funding timelines. The Change Order will provide for a wall unit heater in a utility room that was likely removed during the one of the previous phases. The Change Order also covers an air pressure test on the water supply lines to detect leaks which may still be hidden.
