EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved
PURPOSE: Executive approval and signature of time extension Amendment C to grant agreement 18-96616-196 with the Department of Commerce for Centennial Trail South.
BACKGROUND: On December 19, 2018, Snohomish County Council passed Motion 18-391 authorizing the County Executive to execute grant agreement 18-96616-196 with the Washington State Department of Commerce for design and engineering up to 60% completion for the Centennial Trail South project. The amount granted was Five Hundred Thousand dollars ($500,000) less the administrative fees of Fifteen Thousand dollars ($15,000) for a total amount of Four Hundred and Eighty Five Thousand dollars ($485,000). Two time extensions have extended the grant agreement to June 30, 2025. If approved, Amendment C would take effect upon execution by all parties and would remain in effect until June 30, 2027.
