EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved
PURPOSE: Confirming the official designation of Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) as the Snohomish County Associate Development Organization (ADO) for the 2025-27 Biennium, through the Washington State Department of Commerce.
BACKGROUND: Commerce is directed by RCW 43.330.080 to contract with county-designated ADOs to increase support and coordination of community and economic development in communities or regional areas. As part of this contracting process, every two years, counties are required to complete and submit the attached ADO Certification/Designation Form to Commerce confirming the ADO designation or re-designation. The attached Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is included as documentation of Snohomish County’s official action designating EASC as the ADO.
