PURPOSE: To obtain Executive approval of Amendment 1 to True North Consulting, LLC.
BACKGROUND: Facilities & Fleet Management advertised an RFP for professional security consulting services in 2024. True North Consulting Group had the best combined score and was awarded the contract on 8/30/24 starting with providing risk threat and physical security assessments for nine county buildings. As expected, the True Norths’ initial Scope of Work resulted in requests for additional owner services including, but not limited to, further study and clarification of final report recommendations (i.e., Security Program & Management Plan and Security Protocols) and an add-on site assessment (i.e., County Records building, Information Services space only). The need for future related services was addressed in True North’s base contract to be billed on an hourly and/or lump sum basis. Funding for additional services comes from departmental and project budgets.
