PURPOSE: To obtain Executive approval of PW-23-007SB Change Order 016S
BACKGROUND: The County and Western Ventures Construction Inc. entered into an agreement on June 22, 2023, for the Sheriff's Office Tenant Improvements, West Precinct Airport project. The West Precinct Sheriff and Paine Field, has a single contract, two funding sources, and three areas of work. The competitive bid and initial contract award for PW-23-007SB covered two areas of the work. The interior improvements for the Sheriff and the Airport. The contract also identified the split of the contract amounts for those work areas to the separate funding sources. The third area of work is the site improvements, which were approved as a part of CO-05S. Change Order CO-16S includes design revisions requested by the end users, items which were incomplete or inadequately shown on the bid documents, repairs to inoperable existing equipment that needs to operate to pass inspections, adjustments necessary due to commissioning reports, etc
