PURPOSE: Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) Data Collection Form is a required form for federal grant agreements.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Surface Water Management is receiving a federal grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), via subaward from WA Dept of Ecology (ECY). This grant will partially fund construction of a SWM project - Chinook Marsh.
The ECY grant agreement is already signed by SWM Director Gregg Farris (via authority from EO- 24-02).
The FFATA form itself does not have any fiscal implications, and simply serves to indicate that Snohomish County has a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and a System for Award Management (SAM) account with the federal government. This helps ECY comply with the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act.
