PURPOSE: Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) Data Collection Form is a required form for federal grant agreements.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Surface Water Management is receiving a federal grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), via subaward from WA Dept of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW). This grant will fund several SWM projects, including a subaward to the City of Everett.
The WDFW grant agreement is circulating for review and approval, and will be signed by SWM Director Gregg Farris (via authority from EO- 24-02).
The FFATA form itself does not have any fiscal implications, and simply serves to indicate that Snohomish County has a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and a System for Award Management (SAM) account with the federal government. This helps WDFW comply with the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act.
