PURPOSE: To enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the University of Washington (UW) to allow the UW to identify, recover, process, and distribute cadaveric tissue for scientific and medical research.
BACKGROUND: The University of Washington conducts research using cadaveric tissues of the deceased (with the permission of their next-of-kin) who are under the jurisdiction of the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
