PURPOSE: Distribution Agreement to allow Sheriff’s Office to receive equipment via the DHS State and Local Domestic Preparedness Equipment Support Program administered by Pierce County DEM
BACKGROUND: Pierce County DEM is the designated recipient to distribute funds and/or equipment from the Federal Government via the Department of Homeland Security State and Local Domestic Preparedness Equipment Support Program. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s office is a designated sub-recipient to receive funds and/or equipment that is administered under this program. This distribution agreement will allow the Sheriff’s Office to received video downlink and communications equipment for one of its helicopters valued at $54,769.40
