PURPOSE: Approval for Cooperative Purchasing Agreement for Playground Equipment with Landscape Structures Inc. for playground renovation at Forsgren Park.
BACKGROUND: The playground equipment at Forsgren Park reached the end of its useful life and was removed for safety November 2023. Through a design process with community feedback, a preferred design for new playground equipment was selected. Parks seeks to order the playground equipment through the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (DES) Participating Addendum #1522 to the NAPSO ValuePoint Cooperative Purchasing Program Contract number PO-10700-00015855. Snohomish County Council Motion 24-232 approved a Contract Usage Agreement between Snohomish County and DES authorizing cooperative purchases. Snohomish County has negotiated with and chosen to proceed with a quote from LSI for $137,590.00
