PURPOSE: Distribution Agreement to allow Sheriff’s Office to receive equipment via the UASI grant administered by the Seattle Police Department
BACKGROUND: The Seattle Police Department (SPD) is the designated recipient to distribute funds and/or equipment from the Federal Government via the Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) grant. This is a yearly distribution. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is a designated sub-recipient to receive funds and/or equipment that is administered under this award. This distribution agreement will allow the Sheriff’s Office to receive EOD Pan Kits for the Bomb Unit and communications equipment for the Dive Team valued at $43,000
