EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approve
PURPOSE: Approving and authorizing execution of agreement CLFR-115A-1 between Snohomish County and Catholic Housing Services for Affordable Housing Preservation Funds. The Agency shall use these funds for operating costs or to perform maintenance and repair services on eligible affordable housing units at three different approved sites.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Council signed Motion 24-269 on July 7, 2024, authorizing the Executive to approve and sign agreements in a total amount of $3,999,310 in Affordable Housing Preservation Funds (AHPF). These funds are intended to preserve existing affordable housing stock by addressing issues related to increased expense of operations and maintenance, increased substance use in affordable housing facilities as well as other pandemic related costs.
