PURPOSE: Authorize the lodging-tax Hotel-Motel Funding Agreement between Snohomish County and the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) endorsed project, 2024 American Contract Bridge League - Puget Sound Regional Bridge Tournament at an amount of not to exceed $7,500.
BACKGROUND: On December 13, 2023, Snohomish County Council approved the 2024 Local Hotel/Motel Fund Grants Expenditure Plan, which included funding thirty-nine projects at the levels recommended by the Snohomish County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC). The attached contract (P-24-01) has a value of $7,500 and is within the Executive’s authority to execute without further Council involvement as a result of its approval per Motion 23-535. This agreement uses a boilerplate format that has been developed with, and reviewed by, both Prosecuting Attorney and Risk Management staff.
