PURPOSE: Twice a year, African American women from Snohomish County are invited to join the Women Who Shine-Washington State Cohort (WWS). This program empowers women to embrace their authentic selves, fostering clarity, confidence, and courage. This program creates a vision for our lives, owning our shine and stepping into our fullest leadership potential. With the support of WWS, African American women gain the tools to show up confidently in the world and become the person of their dreams. Funding will be used to pay for supplies, venue and materials of this masterclass.
BACKGROUND: The Office of Social Justice has been directed to provide funding in support of diversity, equity and inclusion efforts within Snohomish County.
