PURPOSE: To execute Services Agreement between the County and Sunday Lake Organization to Cost Share for Lake Management Services.
BACKGROUND: The Sunday Lake Organization began leading efforts to control invasive fragrant waterlily at Sunday Lake in 2019. The County began collaborating with the Organization in 2022. The County led and funded efforts to manage the invasive lily in 2022 and 2023. While the project has been successful, additional control work is needed and will require financial contributions from the Sunday Lake Organization. This collaborative agreement will allow the County to continue managing the project, hiring contractors, and obtaining permits while the Organization pays for invasive plant removal actions by contractors.
