PURPOSE: Approve contract for live duck races

 

BACKGROUND: This is the 3rd time this vendor has been at the fair and they are a one-of-a-kind popular attraction that will draw fairgoers to the fair.  Other potential service providers were contacted to provide quotes, but one did not provide duck races (they provide other types of animal races) and the other only operates in Texas.
