PURPOSE: Make it Worthy is a non-profit organization operating in Snohomish County that supports education efforts for families and individuals in need. Make It Worthy's Community Engagement and Outreach Initiative is an essential project targeting individuals in African/African American and immigrant families in Snohomish County facing vulnerabilities and urgent needs for educational support services in core educational needs. Sponsorship funding will be used to pay for computer equipment, class supplies and materials to support the Engagement and Outreach Initiative.
BACKGROUND: The Office of Social Justice has been directed to provide sponsorship funding to BIPOC organizations operating within Snohomish County.
