PURPOSE: The purpose of this ECAF is to approve and execute Amendment 1 to the Agreement for Professional Services to provide consulting services, project support, and advisory services in relation to the County's financial enterprise resource planning (ERP) system implementation initiative. Amendment 1 will allow the County to obtain additional consulting services from the Contractor.
BACKGROUND: The County ERP system implementation requires professional business consulting services, project support, and advisory services. An Agreement was executed with RedCloud Consulting on December 12, 2023 to provide initial professional services over an 18 month contract. Service competition was waived in accordance with SCC 3.04.203. On July 26, 2024, the parties agreed in Change Order 1 to the Agreement for the Contractor to provide a preliminary business analysis and organizational change management review of the ERP project. The increased cost for Change Order 1 is being incorporated into the costs included in this Amendment 1. The County ERP project will require this analysis, reporting and additional consulting services from the Contractor for the duration of implementation, estimated to occur over 18 months. The increased cost to the Agreement for the work described in this Amendment 1 shall not exceed Eight Hundred Thirty-Seven Thousand Dollars ($837,000.00). Approval of Amendment 1 to the RedCloud Agreement will allow the IT department to receive additional consulting services from the Contractor.
