EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved
PURPOSE: To execute interlocal agreement for project recipient Town of Darrington for a REET II funded project.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Council approved Amended Ordinance 20-071 on November 10, 2020 to adopt the 2021 - 2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which included funding for the Town of Darrington’s Historic Industry Equipment project. This project is planned to provide structures and improvements to display donated historical logging artifacts within Town parks. The Town was unable to meet the deadline of the initial agreement ending December 31, 2023. The Town has moved forward with the project and is now able to accept the funds and has agreed to the terms of the Interlocal Agreement. Funding provided from the County to the Town will be in the amount of $10,000 subject to the terms of the agreement.
