PURPOSE: State Plan of Operation and Addendum that allows the Sheriff’s Office to receive surplus equipment from the Department of Defense via the State of Washington
BACKGROUND: This program allows the Sheriff’s Office to receive surplus equipment that is used for the Air Support Unit and the SWAT team. The equipment received in the past has included air crew helmets, night vision, range finders, and other helicopter related items or technology.
