PURPOSE: Madres de Casino Road has contracted Everett Community College as a service provider to deliver weekly evening English classes to over three quarters in the Casino Road neighborhood. This initiative is strategically designed to complement their existing educational programs, specifically targeting adult learners with daytime work commitments who require flexible learning schedules. OSJ sponsorship funding will be used to pay for class supplies, time, and materials in support of this program.
BACKGROUND: The Office of Social Justice has been directed to provide funding to BIPOC organizations operating within Snohomish County.
