PURPOSE: Executive approval of Professional Services Agreement with Action Target for Sheriff’s Office gun range maintenance and supplies.
BACKGROUND: This contract is the result of County RFP-23-049JM to perform maintenance on the Sheriff’s gun range as well as to furnish all necessary equipment and supplies, which must comply with the current systems in place. The range bullet containment trap, auger, target system (D-Taps), DCU, and deceleration chamber is a system manufactured by Action Target, Inc This agreement provides for 4 maintenance visits per year, as well as a one-time service on the auger in 2024.
