PURPOSE: Authorize the lodging-tax Hotel-Motel Funding Agreement between Snohomish County and the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) endorsed project, DVA Advertising and PR - 2024 Seasonal Marketing Campaign at an amount not to exceed $89,812.50
BACKGROUND: On December 13, 2023, Snohomish County Council approved the 2024 Local Hotel/Motel Fund Grants Expenditure Plan, which included funding thirty-nine projects at the levels recommended by the Snohomish County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC). The attached contract (P-24-40) has a value of $89,812.50 and is within the Executive’s authority to execute without further Council involvement as a result of its approval per Motion 23-535. This agreement uses a boilerplate format that has been developed with, and reviewed by, both Prosecuting Attorney and Risk Management staff.
