PURPOSE: SWM-1 Culvert Replacements Projects
BACKGROUND: The Drainage Improvement Near 11200 67th Ave NE (RR48639), authorized by Council for construction as a part of the SWM-1 Culvert Replacements Project, requires a Construction General Stormwater Permit. The permit is issued by the Washington Department of Ecology. The permit ensures that storm water runoff from the construction site meets specific requirements. The permit requires signature by principal executive officer or ranking elected official. Immediately prior to construction the permit will be formally transferred to the Contractor awarded the construction contract for the project. At that point compliance with all permit conditions and requirements are the responsibility of the Contractor.
