PURPOSE: Funding will be used to pay for costs related to the “Barn to Heart” equine program that includes therapy for mental health and wellness and has an extremely high efficacy rate with struggling youth, especially BIPOC youth. Funds will be used to pay for supplies and costs related to the “Barn to Heart” program.
BACKGROUND: The Office of Social Justice has been directed to provide sponsorship funding to BIPOC organizations operating within Snohomish County.
