EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved
PURPOSE: Authorize the Arts Commission Funding Agreement between Snohomish County and the Arts Commission-endorsed contractor, The Wanderous, video production company -- not to exceed $3,000. The Wanderous will document the creation of a new public art piece for Skate America.
BACKGROUND: 2.95.010 establishes the Arts Commission pursuant to SCC 2.95.050 <https://snohomish.county.codes/SCC/2.95.050>. SCC 2.95.010 authorizes the County to create the arts fund and administer a program to allocate revenues accruing to it under provisions of 2.95.080. These funds are reserved for support of public art projects. This project has been approved by the Arts Board and is within the Executive’s authority to execute per SCC 3.04.140 (2). This project has a total value of $3,000.
