PURPOSE: Executive approval on grant award to reimbursement the expenses or the Target Zero Manager (TZM) assigned to Snohomish County.
BACKGROUND: The WTSC provides multiple funding programs to local law enforcement for traffic emphasis patrols. The TZM provides local coordination of the WTSC funds as well as services as a local coordinator for a DUI Task Force. Since 2016, the Sheriff’s Office has received funding to reimburse the expenses of the TZM through a grant issued by the WTSC.
