PURPOSE: Investment funding is being allocated to Participatory Justice (fiscally sponsored by Community Initiatives) and The Transforming Justice: Community Engagement and Education Series II. Funding creates accessible spaces where residents can come together to learn, reflect, build relationships, and engage in meaningful dialogue about safety, violence, accountability, and justice.
BACKGROUND: The Office of Social Justice has been directed to provide funding to organizations within Snohomish County in support of diversity, equity and inclusion.
