PURPOSE: To authorize Amendment A to the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) contract (F25-53101-422), reflecting an increase in funding with no changes to scope or timeline
BACKGROUND: LIHEAP is a federal grant administered by the Washington State Department of Commerce. The program supports the administration and delivery of weatherization services that provide cost-effective energy efficiency improvements, along with health and safety benefits, for eligible low-income households. The original contract (F25-53101-422) was executed in the amount of $531,879. Amendment A increases the contract by $233,511, bringing the total to $765,390. There are no changes to the contract dates or the scope of work. LIHEAP 25 is included in the OES 2026 Grant Work Plan, and this amendment is authorized under that work plan, allowing the Director or DCNR to sign the amendment.
