PURPOSE: Investment funding is being allocated to MPFA and their Arts & Children 2026 program. Funding supports mobile art programs such as painting, drawing, theater, dance, and music. MPFA provides opportunities for artistic, intellectual, and personal growth by increasing access to high-quality arts education and creating inclusive spaces that celebrate diverse cultures and languages, strengthens families, builds community connections, and helps develop the next generation of creative, confident, and engaged leaders in Snohomish County.
BACKGROUND: The Office of Social Justice has been directed to provide funding to organizations within Snohomish County in support of diversity, equity and inclusion.
