PURPOSE: Evergreen State Fair Traffic Control
BACKGROUND: The Monroe Police Department has provided traffic control for the Fair since 1996. The Fair’s priority is public safety and Monroe PD would provide traffic movement and emergency service access at Highway 2, Cascade View Drive, 179th Avenue SE, the entrances to and exits from the west parking lot during the 2026 Evergreen State Fair, August 27-September 7, 2026.
