PURPOSE: Approval of Intergovernmental Agreement for Public Utility District No.1 of Snohomish County to install four temporary streetlight poles for the 180th St SE Temporary Roundabout Trial Project for a period of up to five years.
BACKGROUND: The 180th St SE Temporary Roundabout Trial Project is a Safety Spot Improvement Project being managed by Public Works Engineering Services. The project includes improved streetlighting at the intersection of 180th St SE and Snohomish Avenue. The PUD will install four temporary wood poles with streetlights for a period of up to five years, after which Public Works can opt to have the poles removed, take over ownership and maintenance of them or replace them with a permanent streetlighting system.
