PURPOSE: Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) Data Collection Form is a required form for federal grant agreements, including subaward agreements.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Surface Water Management has signed an amendment to a federal grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), via subaward from WA Dept of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW). This amendment adds travel funding for SWM staff and one of our subawardees, Adopt A Stream Foundation, to attend a conference, plus additional funding for AASF.
The WDFW grant agreement amendment was signed by DCNR Director Josh Dugan (via authority from EO-25-01).
The FFATA form itself does not have any fiscal implications and simply serves to indicate that Snohomish County has a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and a System for Award Management (SAM) account with the federal government. This helps WDFW comply with the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act.
