PURPOSE: Authorize the lodging-tax Hotel-Motel Funding Agreement between Snohomish County and the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) endorsed project, Snohomish Youth Soccer Club - Stocker Fields World Cup Watch Party & USL2 Match Experience not to exceed $5,000.
BACKGROUND: On February 18th, 2026, Snohomish County Council approved the 2026 Local Hotel/Motel Fund Round 2 Grants Expenditure Plan, which included funding eighteen (18) projects at the levels recommended by the Snohomish County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC). The attached contract (P-26-13) has a value of $5,000 and is within the Executive’s authority to execute without further Council involvement as a result of its approval per Motion 26-054. This agreement uses a boilerplate format that has been developed with, and reviewed by, both Prosecuting Attorney and Risk Management staff.
