PURPOSE: Washington Department of Natural Resources is issuing a new lease to Snohomish County for County’s new dock at Flowing Lake
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County desires to renew the lease for a portion of the aquatic lands commonly known as Flowing Lake, shorelands and bedlands, located in Snohomish County, Washington, from the State, and the State desires to lease the Property to County pursuant to the terms and conditions of the new Lease. The lease has remained on holdover by the State since 2014. County recently was awarded a grant from RCO to build a new dock at Flowing Lake and one of the requirements for the grant is a new lease from DNR.
