EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved
PURPOSE: Approval and execution of Amendment 3 to the Master Software as a Service Agreement to update transaction fees and extend the Agreement for one year.
BACKGROUND: In 2019 the County Sheriff’s Office acquired a user license to access and use Permitium’s online, concealed pistol license (CPL) application platform, PermitDirector. Permitium has notified the County that the concealed carry service fee for CPL applications and renewals will increase from $5.00 per transaction to $6.00 per transaction. Additionally, the County provided a letter dated May 21, 2026 extend the Agreement for one year through August 31, 2027 pursuant to section IV of the Agreement. This Amendment 3 extends the Agreement for one year and authorizes increased transaction fees beginning September 1, 2026.
