EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved
PURPOSE: The purpose of the License Agreement is between the County and NW Cricket Bowl League to use the Cricket Bowl Field for games on the weekends except for Holiday weekends with the Season ending in October, while also maintaining the field and beyond.
BACKGROUND: The County owns certain real property located at 23109 Carter Road, Bothell, Washington, and commonly known as “Forsgren Park.” Forsgren Park includes a portion of real property developed as a cricket bowl that can be used for cricket games and practices (the “Cricket Bowl”) the Cricket Bowl is depicted in Attachment A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. The parties desire to enter into a long-term license agreement for use of the Cricket Bowl. The County has determined that entering into a long-term license agreement with the Licensee whereby the Licensee will perform improvements to, and on-going maintenance of, the Cricket Bowl will serve the public interest by addressing a regional recreational need without encumbering County funds.
